I see that we've finally got a family gathering today which makes us complete. We are gathered here to get to know each other better and to have FUN.
As you all know, this is our third year in Prince George's County, and continuing next year, and who knows how long thereafter, hundreds of qualified Filipino teachers will be admitted to Prince George's County Public School. So, we hope to do this every year hereafter. We need to have that foundation of access to support each other. By getting together as Filipino Teachers with great pride we're doing exactly the right thing.
In conclusion, I want to thank you. It does feel good to see you all here today; and that good feeling emanates from the group, from the people who are part of it, Mrs. Ching Rodriguez and her Arrowhead staff, Mr. and Mrs. Gaskin of Prince George's County Public School, the Pinoy Teachers Network and Citibank, Mitchellville Branch, the major sponsor for today's affair.
This is a group with great promise and great potential to get from where it is to somewhere even better. thanks for coming and thanks for that good feeling.

cultural dance or presentation. If you do, or if you can organize one, we
would like to invite your group to help us represent our country and
present a cultural presentation at the Reston Asian Festival <
www.asianfestivaldc.com to be held on July 21, 2007. If ever possible,
please call me so I can provide you with the details. Also, if you know of
anybody who can sing very well, have him/her enter the Karaoke Contest "
Asian Idol" and apply on line. We have a winning prize of $1000.00 and a
chance to the to sing the US National Anthem at the Washington DC Tennis
Open.
